London – November 30, 2006 - Tyco Electronics has selected IS-Rayfast as its UK & Ireland Specialist Distributor of the Year 2006. The award honours the distributor’s significant growth on the amount and sales value of Tyco Electronics’ line of RAYCHEM brand products as well as a high level of design-in activity with new projects.

Tyco Electronics Account Manager Paul Godden comments: “We are delighted to be able to recognise IS-Rayfast’s achievements in promoting our RAYCHEM brand products.” He adds: “Based on their tremendous expertise and large stock holding of our products, IS-Rayfast has considerably grown their sales across all market sectors. Godden attributes much of the distributor’s recent success to technical selling, with specialists spending the time required to provide customers with a unique solution to their particular problem or design.
