Tyco Electronics has nominated IS-Rayfast as its UK & Ireland Specialist Distributor of the Year 2004. The award honours the distributor’s class-leading performance in the number and value of sales generated from new design-win registrations. IS-Rayfast has also increased its overall sales of Tyco Electronics products over the same period. Tyco Electronics Account Manager Paul Godden commented: “We are very pleased to be able to recognise IS-Rayfast for their continued excellence in promoting Tyco Electronics.” He added: “We rely on their technical support, inventory holding and added value services to support the Tyco Electronics, Raychem brand.”

IS-Rayfast acts as a value-added distributor for Tyco Electronics’ wire, harnessing, protection, identification and labelling products, in sectors such as aerospace, defence, marine and industrial. Paul Godden attributed much of the distributor’s recent success in these markets to technical selling, with sales specialists spending the time required to provide customers with a unique solution to their particular problem or design.
